Amy Jackson is a British actress and model who has made a name for herself in the Indian film industry, predominantly in Tamil films, along with a few Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada films. Born in 1992 in the Isle of Man, Amy Jackson started her career as a model and won the Miss Teen World competition in 2009. She then moved to India and made her acting debut in the Tamil film "Madrasapattinam" in 2010. In 2011, she achieved the honour of Best Debut Actress for her remarkable performance in "Madrasapattinam".
Besides being an actress, Amy Jackson also actively supports charitable causes as a patron, including "The Sneha Sargar Orphanage for Girls". She was honoured with the United Nations' International Day of The Girl Child award in London in 2018. Apart from that, she is a passionate advocate for vegan animal rights, proudly serving as an ambassador for PETA since 2016.
